As technology progresses, more and more peoples' needs and wants will be satisfied and eventually exceeded due to the compounding effect of technology making everything cheaper, less labor-intensive, and transparent. Government will shrink as a result.

However, until such an efficient technological future arrives, government plays an important role in minimizing economic externalities, operating public monopolies, and treating certain issues such as frictional unemployment.

Take an economics course satanswill666, the laws of physics, earth geology, and human/animal/plant biological evolution make capitalism necessary for the greatest possible societal prosperity. If humans had the biological selflessness of ants and had no individuality, then communism may be more efficient at fulfilling needs. However, this is obviously not the case, capitalism and democracy generates the greatest amount of possible wealth people of all socioeconomic groups.

This is about the stupidest movie ever but it was funny as hell. Us kids were playin war all day in the 80's and what if this stuff really did happen? We ate it up! The not so funny thing is I think the idiots that wrote this movie also wrote the play book for Afghanistan and Iraq.

Its got nothing to gain from invading the US, and it would almost certainly get nuked. You do know what the cold war was right?
