ha!!, I had pretty much the idea but yours is better. Thanks for your tips...bought my camera this weekend and so far love it...specially the panoramic option...great for my trip to Rome in few weeks.

Hello everybody. I can not do photos while recording video. Is this problem only with my camera or do yoyhave the same? Maybe I do smth wrong?

@thebobbyzy - If you select the highest mode for videos (the AVCHD28M PS mode), you will not be able to capture still images while the video is being recorded. However, in the FX, FH and HQ modes, you will be able to capture still images while recording video--just press the shutter button and you'll see the 'Capture' info in the upper right hand corner. In highest resolution mode, the camera's processor and sensor are dedicated to capturing the highest quality video possible.
