  • The dimensions are at the begining of the vid

  • What exactly to all the extra walls do??

like whats the difference between this box and just an L-ported speaker box,

  • @danielquintana52 basically its boosts sound quality and you get better output from the subwoofer

  • I didn't know that a close to 50 year old speaker enclosure design had been renamed.

    This is a folded horn.

The channel or path is lengthened to "tune" the woofer to it's most predictable and optimal frequency. By creating a "hallway" (T-lines) instead of a big open "room" with open windows (A typical 2nd or 3rd order enclosure), you've increased the distance the air/sound has to travel in a confined space.

    Great design though.

  • could you please pm me the demenssions of this box and how think of wood u are using, nice vid man keep it up! how hard are u hitting with it on scale?? must be beast

  • @XsubwoofermaniacX you got the specs for this? i got a 12 thats similar to a type r

  • @XsubwoofermaniacX yo could you make a design for 2 12s that would fit in my trunk ?

  • would this work for a 12'' solo x

  • Plans for a 15" L7..... How about 12" solo x?

  • @mrdodgeram1999 - Thin cheap laminates are light and will flex with the sound pressure, making their own sound which distorts your music. You want the walls to be very heavy and rigid so they don't resonate with your bass. You can use 3/4" baltic birch plywood. But that's expensive and prone to splitting. MDF is solid, dense, and won't split. It's a good material. In general, thick and heavy is best.

  • Can you make a healthy figure kicker 300w speakers? write to pm

  • @g1gglez1 The song is called G5 The Jett - She A Stallion :) Happy to help
