Growing up in the world today can be incredibly difficult. We know young people have to deal with so much pain and feelings of non-acceptance. Being picked on and bullied has reached beyond the classroom and into the Internet. Life isn't supposed to be this tough sometimes, but yet it is. We're here to let you know that it's going to be ok. There's a spark inside each and every one of you that will let you be free and happy with you are and whatever struggles you have to deal with. Be strong, believe there is a better day ahead, and find that spark and turn it into a FIREWORK :) Thank you Katy Perry for this beautiful and inspiring song.

Growing up I had a problem with dyslexia. i was bullied and made fun of when I had to read in front of the class. My mother had to help me read my homework to get it done. I never really got over it but I pushed through it. My senior year I had the reading level of an 8th grader, which was higher than was expected of me. I then went to a university for 4 years and now starting my own business. I still have a problem with reading but I don't let it effect me.

I have a learning disorder called Asperger's Syndrome. It makes it hard for me to socialize and affects how my brain processes language. I was constantly teased from preschool to the end of my sophmore year of high school. When I started Junior year, I promised myself I wouldn't let anything bring me down. I'm now 22, and I'm due to graduate from college w/ my AS degree to teach preschool. I'm sucessful, and I know I can do anything.

Listening to this song, I think of my friends, then I start crying because I've been through a lot, ever since I was 6, but my friends are always there for me, so next day at school, I started hugging all my friends and saying thank you for being there for me, and I love you as family. I never really cared if they thought of me as family, it just matters that they are my friends
