Was this actually a Gibson-made advertising piece? It's cute, but dumb.

The advertiser's presumed implications:

1) A female cannot properly tune a guitar.

2) The modern guitar-buyer would prefer, say, this year's model, stuffed with the most current, state-of-the-art technology, to, say, an older model, which will still function, after the manufacturer quits supporting the technology-du-jour.

3) Present-day Gibson buyers are suckers for high-profile gimmicks.

(Well, at least #3 is correct.)
