It hurts so much if you lose your dog. I feel very sorry for your loss and I can understand your pain about it. My Irish Terrier died of cancer about a month ago and I miss her terribly. Its truly awful...

@ardea3 So sorry for your loss. My dogs have always been my best friends, and each one I've lost I still feel their presence to this day. You may still feel Flynn's soul because he never really left. He'll be watching over you and your family every day.

@ardea3 sorry for any offence, I have an IT 11 weeks old, sorry to hear you lost yours, I can tell from the vid you adored him.
I feel your pain so bad, I had a big boy Dogue De Bordeaux called Diggery, 3 days ago, at 5 years old and 7 months he died suddenly in mine and my brothers arms, He had undiagnosed DCM, they are in Heaven together. All my love and respect x x x. George

I am so sorry for your loss. It seems just unbelievable, doesn't it? I can't imagine not even seeing it coming, just shocking and heartbreaking. I kept asking, Why not just one more walk the next morning? Blessings that the wonderful memories you shared will soon, with time, fill the void left in your heart by his departure.

You obviously missed the description, he had been sick for more than a year, was bloated and muscle mass was eaten away by DCM, had lost much of his hair.
His parents were both champion ITs BTW.

Thanks for all your comments. Oftentimes I still feel his soul hovering around us. We still don't have another Irish, but are, after 1 1/2 years, opening up to the idea. The baby is on my lap in the car wash, just before getting gas.
