well, you should be fired. Your job requires that you do not be biased, you obviously violated that. You'll be hearing from me in a letter also! You're a corrupt public official and you need to fess up. The truth shall set you free!

Update: The ordinance was drafted cleverly by the scientology lawyer to change the wording from distance to residences to "property line". It is very important to understand that Hwy 79, which bisects the 700 acre Gold Base property is exactly 100 feet wide, from property line to property line.

That means that if you measure 50 feet from either side of the road, the protesters are left with an imaginary line of ZERO width on which to protest. I clearly brought that up with Jeff Stone, but he avoids the issue, and keeps saying that 50 feet is not too bad.

The way the ordinance is written, we must protest at the edge of the property (Sanderson & 79 on the north; or down to the Soboda fork on the south side) That's approximately one mile on either side of the gate. Just wait a few months, if this passes, they will explain the ordinance that way to the local sheriffs and picketing at Gold will be impossible.

I am happy to see you here calling out Jeff Stone's snafu. Personally, I believe that he by now has realized that he was conned by Co$... but he is attempting to back-pedal his way out in a politically 'safe' manner... he is unsuccessful... poor idiot. I agree that he is fired for not having the intelligence to properly research the Scientology 'phenomenon'. He allowed himself to be fooled by Co$...
