You only get crowns when you don't take care of the cavity, you end up having to get a root canal, which basically means the dentist drills the root of the tooth destroys the enamel down to a cap, which is impressed and given to the lab, mean while you are left with a temporary excuse for teeth

@AKUJU Lucky. I won't be able to sleep during mine. I got a root canal and thought that the drilling was done. I was SO wrong

My tooth was absolutly killing me for 4 days and I went in for an emergancy appointment. they xrayed it and said the nerve is infected and needed a root canal.

hi dr.jerry gordon..I JUST HAD MY ROOT CANAL RECENTLY...DO I HAVE TO go to a dentist for a crown?? my dentist did not put any crown after my root cana.
