Palestine Texas High School received a top rating of "1" at the UIL Marching Band competition in Nacogdoches Texas on Saturday October 18, 2008. Shawn Murray, band director. A selection from Gioachino Rossini's "Barber of Seville" was performed.

This is part (1) look for part " (2) UIL Palestine Band 2008 " and watch / listen for the BOOM ! at the conclusion of the performance.

I videoed this performance because my son, Chris Chaillot, was one of the snares - although he was only an eighth grader at the time !

  • Thank you for your comment. I agree with you !

I filmed this performance because my son Christopher Paris Chaillot ( shy YO ) was one of the snare drums - although he was just an 8th grader at the time - pulled up to play in the high school band.

  • I'm in the Westwood Band, I remember watching this show like 9 times. Its a good show and great delivery!

  • They have a wonderful sound, much better than when I was in this band, 1992-1996.

  • I watched this show at contest. Awesome... which is a lot seeing how I come from a military band-- I pretty much dislike all core, but this drill made me want to jump up and down..I think I actually did a little bit.
