I saved all my ammo for the last dude with 3 stages. Fuck he was hard x.x
I save the big green damage yourself and clear the room when shot nuke whatevers for the last battle.

It's just really long. Especially when you're going for the challenge points.

there is an easier way to beat his ship, if you just stand at the right area you can be between both turrets and not take damage then just keep firin away

Yeah I noticed that when I got under the Slave 1. It's just been a while since I've played this game and I remember getting murdered as a kid by the Slave 1 and losing several lives. I basically did what I did back then; try to get around the ship and unload my seekers/flamethrower/pulse.
Then I realized "Oh the damage is negligible!" and just got under and finished it off.
