Educated Prophecies

When Richard Holbrooke's answered Charlie Rose's question regarding Slobodan Milošević's case with "He'll never see the daylight again" nobody took this literally. Yet, Slobodan Milošević died a couple of months later and Holbrooke repeated the same phrase just to make himself clear on this matter. "He was never gonna see the daylight again and that was appropriate".

Soon after Dr. Radovan Karadžić was arrested, Richard Holbrook made another prediction, "if he goes to Hague, he'll never get out and that will be the end of it". Nevertheless, he didn't miss the opportunity to mention how this may affect Sudanese president Al-Bashir and speculate on his fear since actions taken against Serbian politicians might easily be taken against him.

Indeed, Al-Bashir should be afraid but not only him. All world leaders not compliant to official US foreign policy should be trembling in fear for their very lives.

It's the DEMOCRACY that counts! And don't you dare to think that democracy will do any good to your society. If your democratic country somehow turns out to be a threat to the national security of US, economically or militarily (don't forget that this also applies to your willingness to share your domestic natural resources), you might as well end up being bombed back to the Stone Age; that is, unless you agree to reintroduction of the concept of democracy, installation of puppet government and being turned into an asset of global proxy wars to justify the need of such decrepit Cold War parasites like NATO to live on.

This twisted hegemonic policymaking of corrupt elite that strives to enslave the world needs to be stopped. And if you can't do anything to stop it then, at least, don't lump it, don't deny it.

It's time for the world to wake up and realize that we all have a common enemy.

Holbrooke's rant about Milosevic is also interesting for many reasons. During his trial Milosevic revealed the stenographic notes of a meeting between Tudjman and himself/Peter Galbraith. The notes showed Holbrooke urging the Croatian government to carry out operation Storm/Flash on the eve of the offensive at a time when he claimed he was trying to win the Croatian Serbs around to a Peace agreement ! His audacity is amazing.

Holbrooke knows what he is talking about. The recent conviction of serbian leaders for so called war crimes bear as much connection to the truth of the evidence showed in that case as a David irving rant on the Holocaust !
