@Leatherbubba - The Japanese are well known for pulling in foreign culture references. Most of the time, it's music related, but look at Splatterhouse, where Rick looked an awful lot like Jason Voorhees of Friday the 13th in the original game. Yeah, they kind of do that.

@Raephire - The thing is, the ratings board was supposed to be there FOR the parents so they could have a heads-up what their kids are playing. The problem isn't the board, it's the idiots that don't read the rating, buy GTA IV for their kid, and wonder why he thinks picking up hookers in a stolen car, getting it on in an alley, then killing them for their spent money is okay...
