How a Kingston SSD improved my work life - by BigKyri

In this video I take a look at the Kingston SSD NOW 100, a cool little solid state hard drive.

The reading speed of this little device is phenomenal 230MB a second!

I copied a few large movie files (about 5gig's worth) which took about a minute, my old clunky external hard drive took about 6 minutes!

I also love the fact that the USB not only handles the data transfer but also powers the device. I no longer have to hunt for an extra power outlet when out and about with my laptop, and I can now take the multi-plug adapter out of my laptop case :-)

I am very impressed with the speed and size of this hard drive. Also included in the packaging are cables and brackets, which will allow me to adapt this notebook hard drive to fit and work in my desktop PC.

I love it!

I'd definitely use it for boot and apps... much more effective in that role!
