@rafikingkong Yes, Taiwan was part of China at one point! However, after China lost the First Sino-Japanese War, Taiwan was ceded to Japan in the Treaty of Shimonoseki in 1895. After Japan lost WWII, Japan left Taiwan in the hands of the Guomindang. Annnddd that was the last power transfer that happened. Taiwan was never given back to China. Guomindang was once a political party of China, but they fled the mainland after losing to the Communists who are still in power today..... sooooooo yeah :P

@Spikewarrio Um... last I checked the Anti-Secession Law is just China telling itself that Taiwan is part of the PRC... the Guomindang had no involvement in it... So how does that mean that Taiwan is part of China?
