An overview of 1970's Britain and the radical proposals put forth by Margaret Thatcher that secured her Conservative party a pivotal election victory in 1979. The large financial rebate she secured for Britain from the European Union, one of the earlier achievements of her premiership, is also discussed.

  • you cannot deny the greatness of the woman...she transformed britain for the better and improved all that she touched...and she had an undeniable charm. Can the same be said of the left wing impoverished miserable workers who would like to see the world burn?

  • Thatcher is the best

  • @maclachj1 I think you'l find that Jung (freuds assistant) has superceeded freuds work. One the things he pointed out was the tendency of people to justify their actions by putting their own unresolved issues upon others. Both Hitler and Snatchers speeches betray this tendancy. Its interesting to read a speech with knowing who wrote about who... Gotta get to skool TTFN

  • @DoctorBastardo to be honest, I'm struggling with your grammar and sentence construction. Although from what I gather you have been misinformed about economic history and have a deep rooted Freudian facination with male genitalia. There are other websites for that... explore...it's nothing to be ashamed of

  • @The1985Channel Its politicians in general I dont trust. Theres no such thing as a working peoples party anymore. Thanks the the daily fail and the renamed news of the screws joe bloggs things he has to vote BMP or UKIP. As for the coalition, I cant see all the dissolution voters tick liberal again. Once bitten twice shy. Basically camerwrong will be remembered as the king who presided over the worst cuts and riots since mankey snatcher. Good luck with that one!

  • @DoctorBastardo Well, it's clear you despise the Tories, but I wouldn't start thinking this coalition's going anywhere as long as Labour keep Miliband as leader.

  • @maclachj1 PS your a knobhead of thee very very finest order. In fact one so penile of a dangly head of the forward motion are you that its a miracle that your arse is were it is, just below your knobnose. Love Peace and Headlice for your cats with any luck. TTFN

  • @maclachj1 dunno is it the people whose lifetimes of taxpaying & careers were destroyed. Maybe its the 5% richest. Are you including the NHS, maternity pay, disabiliity benefits etc in your welfare state, because I think you'll find a lot who agree with you daily mail/sun reader views claim the most benefits. The Muslim haters, the queer & paki bashers, the bmp lovers, the not in my council back yard brigade. Yes its too high, but take benefits from those not deserving, not just a blanket cut.

  • @DoctorBastardo I had a family and started my own business in Mankey Snatchers britain.... then she took the milk... I'd already lost 3 jobs since leaving school by dockyards being decimated, and the working man, whom this trainee clerk relied on, having no work. Then the miners. THEN the evil purpotrated against peace activists. An evil that continues to this day. I left school a nice person gadge but your vote made the man I am. (spits)

  • @The1985Channel Nope, just a child/youth/young man of thatchers britain. Your obviously one of the lucky few who benefited. A clever old tory trick. keep a section of the poor believing they are middle class, get them to read the right papers watch the right channels. Then fuck whats left right up the poopshute with an SS labelled dildo. Metaphorically speaking of course. Boy did "whats left" get it. The country you never saw was a wasteland. The greed of the few bled the rest very nearly dry

  • @DoctorBastardo Well aren't you a kind person.
