Wrestling Classics #25 - It's Halftime Heat, baby! (Empty Arena match 1999)

I present you this "rare" footage of the most unique match ever, the Halftime Empty Arena match for the WWF championship. This was back in 1999 when wrestling was cool and Vince could do this without losing money (not that they did since that night they taped like 5 shows). And yes, this was after that awesome I quit match at the 1999 Royal Rumble that saw The Rock giving 74 chair shots to Mankind who lost the match because of the PA system.
By the way, this might actually be the last time Vince McMahon stepped in as commentator since he left those duties some years before this.

Also, I decided to bring back the "match graphic", this time with new text design and, when used, I'll add the logo of the show which should add a nice touch to it overall.

As you can see now I'm enabled to upload videos longer than 15 minutes, that means I may upload full matches from now on.

Recently reading Mick's "Foley is Good" Book, he talks how he was in the airport waiting for his plane and decides to go to a bar and watch the Superbowl. After insisting on changing the channel during halftime, he tells how everyone was enjoying the match until they got to the end, when he was lowering the crate, and they showed that fake ass camera angle, a guy exclaimed, "Oh C'mon, where that camera angle come from". He then says how one camera angle ruined everything. I lol'd.

@WMNWO That's because first, they aired your normal jobber matches and then, when they went to halftime, they showed the first arena, where Heat was happening (Shane and Kevin were commenting) then they passed to this, where they're already in the "second" arena ("second" because I suppose it was the same one just that the empty arena match was taped first).

@WMNWO the cheering is from the direct feed from the not-empty arena they broadcasted most of Halftime Heat from...the fans in that arena are watching the match on the JumboTron
