Caleb, an eight year old boy from Ontario, Canada, talks about his new filtered NARZ contact lenses for his achromatopsia. Caleb has the CNGB3 gene form of rod monochromatism, the most common form of achromatopsia. Caleb discusses how his new lenses control the severe hemeralopia or day blindness from his achromatopsia.
Artificial lighting usually doesn't bother me so much, I mean I'll still squint and everything, but sunlight is another story... Everything is a huge glare of annoying painful light blurryness from hell.... I'd still rather use sunglasses... Contacts are... annoying... Do those even... what's the word... transition? Like from light to no tint in a dark room and dark tint in a bright room? If not, not even sure if that's possible with contacts now... Then yeah... Sunglasses ftw
