  • good video thanks

  • @pmcnamara1983 No problem! =)

  • I have iExtreme 1.6 on mine. (Took a break from gaming). So, I come back hoping to play some new stuff, Batman AC for instance. Nope. I need to update to LT3.0.

People tell me I have to update to stock fw, then update dashboard, then update to lt3.0. Is this true? Basically how do you update to Lt3.0 if you are already flashed with iextreme 1.6?

  • @metroplex2k7 Hi, It's not necessary to restore to stock, update dashboard and then reflash but I recommend you do as it's what I always do and it's better to be save than sorry. If you do want to restore to stock simply follow the steps in the video until you get to the part where it says "Do you wish to auto-load Benq LT-Plus?" click no, then click "Open Target Fimware" and select the original firmware for your drive and then continue with the steps. Hope I helped =)

  • Does this work?

  • @UnbornTechnology Yep! =)

  • @M1LL3RB0Y ahhhh yeah i didnt know that, thanks do much, u have been very helpful

  • @samvallely Well to guarantee a good burn, using the burner max firmware is a good idea but you cant just flash any drive you have. It has to be a LiteOn iHAS124b to be compatible with the firmware. You can find these on ebay easily. Hope I helped =)

  • @M1LL3RB0Y yeah ive been looking into it, i think thats the problem, i read somewhere about flashing my laptop drive with ixtreme burner max.. is this right?
