@xDrEsXx Most Apple stores won't do it unless it's the newest laptop they have and even sometimes at that, they won't do it. You're better off going to a third party technician who can do it for you and is trained to do it.

@Zanghfei no, its all sorted now, i didnt realise quite how hard you have to push the ram in, insert the ram at an angle, get two thumbs on the back side of the ram and push firmly, slowly and really hard, then snap in downwards.

You had to go apple store and repair it.

it spend like over 900$ CAD well I price is overall to US.

I try to sell it and buy the new one.

IT CAN'T you have to buy the same price of the macbook.

I inserted my new mac ram in my macbook pro 15, the mac doesnt turn on, I just get a flashing white light, i inserted my old ram back in and I still have the same problem! please help
