Does anyone know if the Balisong is currently legal or not in Pennsylvania? I know there was a court hearing where it was deemed legal, but that was awhile back and I'd like to know whether or not that is still the case.

To anyone having trouble with this move, I find it easiest to do it in one straight motion upwards. Do not throw it out and do not move your wrist. Just let go of the safe handle, pull upwards and then suddenly stop. Letting go of the safe handle and moving the bite handle back forces the safe handle to fall then suddenly stopping makes it swing back up. Took me forever of overcomplicating it to figure this out.

@the1stbuilder65 its the latch its like the locking mechinism for balisongs

@cutlerylover i know this is probably a noob question, but what is the knob/ lever thing on the "bite" handle

How to treat a Balisong cut accident:
1. Rinse the wound.
2. Soap it.
3. Repeat step 1.
4. This seems crazy, but apply hand sanitizer to the wound when it doesn't seem to hurt as much.

can't you just wear gloves?
Is your blade taped or dulled for these demos? Just curious. I love flipping with the tape off, but my hands can't take the mistakes. Even with the latch and pocket clip on my 51, I still flip the bite handle on accident all the time

@WalTxAaroN I dont tape my blades at all...I flip with a live blade, I even sharpen them up, the sharper it is trhe cleaner the cut and it will heal faster...its juyst the inherited danger of flipping
