I wonder if Miss Ridley is going to comment about the fateful woman who was hanged today in Iran - without a fair trial!!. No OF COURSE not - not when you work for Press TV (from Iran) are paid by a regime that thinks hanging is a suitable for anything that goes against the koran!. Hideous woman..really really hideous!. I wonder if she will ever have to face execution without a fair trial ? One can only hope!

@yeovil5 everything is "relative". Islam has political definition and monetary rules among other social laws(Shariaa) which christianity doesnt have. Now, the problem is the implementation of those doctrines. Iran is ruled by people who use some part of the Shariaa (social rules) and dismiss the rest (Monetary, economic, Iran is still using Usury/Interest in the monetary system which is forbidden),Khomeiny lived in europe 20 years protected by M16 and flew back to Iran in a MOSSAD plane

@yeovil50 Had Iran been "Islamic" they wud have never dealt in a back door business with Israel during the 80s and also the Iran contra. But on the other points you re right, I just cant deny the fact, having worked myself in Iran. The Qoran is not responsible for the iranian and Wahhabi political agenda. Nothing in the Qoran pushes people to do things against their will. Wearing Hidjab is a willing must and not a coercisive action, especially towards non muslim women, I do agree with you indeed

@alfredomafioso Really?. Strange I lived in the USA for 2 years and never saw woman stopped in the street and told what to wear. Never saw restrictions on alcohol because it was against the bible. Granted parts of the USA are deeply religous ,however even in those religous parts people who are not are still afforded to go about their daily business without intrusion from religion..Whereas in Iran Islam attempts to control the whole population. Can you say that is true for the USA too?
