It would have made StarTropics 2 better, anyway.

Well, we're up to Ys 7 now, and Adol still hasn't received that knife in the back yet. When it comes though, it will likely be Terra's fault somehow. And she'll whine about Adol being to blame for allowing the knife to stab into him.
