Dhaka's lifeblood is dying.

The Buriganga river, one of the four around Bangladesh's capital, is now one of the most polluted in the world.

  • this could have been stoped if the countries who have problem with population growth had put a restriction one child per parents a long time ago.

    popluation growth is the key to every pollution .

  • this is what happens when a country doesn't take care of its own environmental problems. Don't expect western countries to come and help..be independent and take care of your own problems. 

  • @rwjscaper probably yes. Are you gonna go and teach them about it or do you just like sharing your negativity with others?

  • @skillcentre Doesn't China have a lot of environmental issues though? What use is a country's wealth if there are problems in the environment? Think about the Tsunami and Earthquake in Japan this year, and Japan is a rather wealthy country, isn't it?
