i know he's great but i wish i knew how "efficient" his tech was. Meaning power throw vs full throw.

I was throwing a consistent 54 with the glide up through my junior year in college. For fun, I tried to throw the Shot in the same technique I used for the South African. I hit 56' the first throw. I ended up that year with a best of 67' and my discus was already nearing 200'. I have taught nothing else but the spin ever since (over 25 years).
