  • What colander did you use, where did you get it, how much did you pay? I can't find it anywhere and I want to make this as a project for welding class.

  • @ErwinEnterprises I bought the collanders at IKEA in Bloomington MN. I have now idea "what collander" it is or how much it was.

  • Thanks for the info. I have been using a cast irin pan and a heat gun. I would like to copy your desighn. Do you have any advise on where to purchase green coffee in bulk ? I have been buying mine 15 pounds at a time on ebay and would like to try to purchase in larger quanities and share with my friends. They still drink Folgers when they aren't sponging off me ! Great background music as well. Live long and be Blessed my friend !

  • @carvinrigged There is a coffee broker or two on every big city. Contact them directly. Some may hesitate to sell to a home roaster, but tell them you are an aspiring coffee house business owner and want to experiment with some batches. Coffee brokers, will sell at market price. 3 to 5 $'s a pound right now. The people on Ebay are buying from brokers.

  • What did you do about the chaff?

  • @matty1988TJC The chaff blows away while you stir.

  • Nothing beats a good hot cup of joe.

  • @apagoogoo There is no toxicity issue and you do not have to wait any length of time to use the beans. I am my own local roaster.

  • I need to build one of these and give it a try. Thanks for sharing.
