    This is way after CCR, in the 80's. Centerfield. The interesting thing is, that the melody is "Wild Weekend" from back in the '60's, even down to the sax part. The lyrics, John. Terrific song though. Probably covered by every garage band in the world for over 40 years ... including my own. I first heard WW in the 80's in a Hermosa Beach club. Anyway, John does it justice.

  • Does anyone know if CCR ever did this song? I have heard Fogerty make references to it in interviews, but I followed CCR during their time together and never heard the song until John was on his own.
