  • did you blow it up yet? or did you start treating it better?

  • @killa94z28 - it's meant to be driven, hard or otherwise. no it hasn't blown up. the motor now resides in a 1993 GT Convertible and runs awesome. the green notch is waiting patiently for a bigger small block along with a power adder so we can REALLY do some damage.

  • great car im jelous that you got a dad that was willing to do this for you, kinda silly to run a carb on a car that was great with a efi but im not judgeing everyone does it with these conversions and yours seems to run good

  • @DIMEBAGJIMMY426 - trust me, it's not 'silly' at all to run carburetion on a motor like this. carburetors are simple, easy and inexpensive to work with and, if tuned right, will perfom just as well on as EFI...

average cost of setting up EFI is $2000+, average cost of setting up a carb is $450.

  • @pmm01532 But those of us who have EFI don't have to wait for our cars to warm up in the winter lol That's the only reason why I like fuel injected and not carb. Love the coupe by the way.

  • I like it. Mines a 4cyl auto too. But building a 351W with a 5spd now :)
