Good point ... It makes sense! I think somalis gene is different from other East African communities. They have resilient from anything (wars, invasion etc) hardship they go through, it's only a matter of time.

So true but you have to understand...we Somalis are united in our distrust of Ethiopia while Ethiopians are not. The other thing, Ethiopians aren't as politically charged as us Somalis. Also, ethnically speaking, Somalis are largely homogeneous and so when you add our population numbers in the Horn of Africa...we're more significant than you might think. That might explain why Ethiopia gets outside help because their population has other things to be concerned about.
