@taxi911 You didn't. You sound surprisingly sane, considering this is YouTube, after all. I listen to a broad variety of music, including EBM and other headbanging-material ;P But I also like both Týr and Turisas. To each their own, and besides, it's a matter of taste. No one is neither right nor wrong here.

I just listen to stuff with a very critical mind, I hardly headbang. I just enjoy stuff if it's something totally unique to me and sounds good at the same time.

Sorry, but it didn't change my opinion a bit - I still say they're generic. Their stuff doesn't stand out to me.
The song you asked me to check sounds like a typical Heavy Metal/Power Metal crap. In other words, it's just typical Symphonic garbage slapped hard with themes of battles or stuff. Once again, I've heard so many bands like Turisas, and to me, not only does their music fails to stand out, it flat out fails to sound good as well.
Tyr + Amon Amarth > Turisas for me.
