Mohican Outdoor School server

This is the current (first) server setup for MOS. It was put togeather over a weekend giving the school their first computer network. The school is hoping to receive funds which will allow them to purchase better equipment. Once that happens I'll post a new video showing the improvements.

Equipment in use
- Stripped down Liebert rack
- Old Dell PowerEdge server running SBS 2003
- Decent GX620 running Untangle
- Netgear VPN/Firewall Router
- Dell 24port un-managed switch
- Hughes Net modem (not a recommended ISP...)
- 2 Liebert UPS units (One powering servers, the other powering the switch, router, modem, and phone system)

If this is the same MOS in Butler, OH (must be) I worked there a decade ago for just one season at the school. When I was there MOS had its own (low power AM) radio station. Does that still exist? I was hoping MOS would hire me the next season so I could improve that station. I had an idea how to do it but MOS opted to cut me loose. I'm a former college DJ.

A lot has changed with MOS in the past 10 years. The entire "management" team has been replaced and the school is going in a good direction now. Since I've started doing consultant work with MOS they haven't had an AM radio station. I've never seen any radio equipment either.

prolly about 36 hours if you include setting up the office pc's and such.

@intrntpirate2 The signal of the MOS radio station was so weak that you couldn't even hear it in the wreck room which was next door to the library. Its call letters were WMOS-AM 530. Low wattage (don't remember how many.)

@intrntpirate2 The "radio station" equipment is in the ELC library. Or at least it WAS there when I worked there. There was a CD player & record player turntable along w/a hand held mic. The frequency of that station was supposed to be at the AM frequency of 530. I used it every day during social time & even option time during days when the kids couldn't go outside due to thunder & lightning.
