ive seen most people who post undreading their dreads and almost all of them have to cut their hair very short to get it back to it's true form again. but again it's a choice of style. Not a cultural awaking.

first of all Not all races would have what you call locks of they didn't comb their hair. Combing ones hair is a maintence choice.
As far as kinky straight wavy curly or coiled or even a shaved head hairstyle beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. And their choice. But be honest most of those who have straight hair and decide to dread it if they chose to undread it their hair is damaged from doing it which is why most have to cut away so much of their hair to get it back it's natural way

Who cares if someone's lazy about hair upkeep? It's a better hairstyle than most. It proves that you have commitment, and that in itself far outweighs the laziness you speak of. Why do people want it? Because it's the very first hairstyle ever. Before brushes and combs, everyone had dreads. Why take nature away with a little plastic thing with teeth? :) Just my 2 cents.

No one hair style is better than the other. Everyone has thier own preference. Straight hair is not perfect, and it is not the goal that everyone should try to aspire to. God didn't bless those with straight hair any more than He blessed those with kinky hair. You sound like a bigot when you spew stuff like what you said.
