St. Xavier University (Chicago) Junior Linebacker Mike Lally trains his 40 yard dash on his last Dynamic Effort Lower Body workout of the summer. He ran his best time of his life, a 4.68 on turf! Watch for this kid to make some noise in the NAIA.

  • I run a 4.70 in the 11th grade but I'm a QB he fast

  • Mike was also an NAIA All American for the 2008 football season and also was a Super Six for the NAIA, one of the top 6 NAIA players this year. His best time is a 4.46 that I have timed him at.

  • DANG! He on that NFL status. Did he go semi pro? people who are in the NAIA don't go pro

  • Well, as hard as it is to believe, there are some people from the NAIA that go on to play professionally, mostly in the arena leagues and in Canada. Check out the other guy who runs, Joe Miller. He is currently talking with his agent to get him on an arena 2 team. Just goes to show you, if you want it bad enough, it doesn't matter how small a school you go to. You can do it if you bust your ass!

  • Nice. My QB coach outside of my school is a CFL coach a former AFL player and CFL player. Thats nice. Hope they make it

  • Thanks. Let me know if you ever have any training questions about strength, speed, or explosiveness. I will be more than happy to help you out. You should subscribe to my videos too. Good luck QB.

  • if that 4.68 im running like a 4.4 atleast

  • me too, but i was 6' 7" 215 lbs.

  • in terms of sprinting i think the technique could be better. some quick tips 1. do NOT let your arms cross your body when you sprint. its wasted energy and it slows your stride. 2. relax your head and neck. if your upper body is tense then thats just wasted energy taken away from powering your legs and core muscles. 3. practice running and having the balls of your feet be the first part of your feet to touch the ground. its awkward at first but it does wonders to imprv ur explosivenesss

  • ok i will but ive been busy thats y it takes me a while to reply to comments and my camera is broke so il use my phone but it will take a while cuz phones format is 3gpp2 and youtube takes avi so i have to convert it and shit.
