Yea its time to get this thing wet & see if it still works. In this vid I do 3 tests. One to just watch the bubbles, and two others that actually look at the volts, amps, time, etc that provide the MMW.

Let me say that... well you have to watch the video to find out.

;)

Oh yea here is the link for the watervan website that has the MMW online calculator... http://www.watervan.co.uk/tools.php

  • Good job mate, Covering up the exposed edges makes a huge difference to the efficiency.

  • Thanks, and yes I am starting to see that - it makes me want to make a brick cell like Zerofossilfuel & others have.

  • I cant believe how hard you have worked at this useing those plates. You really stuck to it and are having great results. Good job.

  • Hi Steve. I like your videos. Here is a easy way to figure your mmw with out going to a web site.

take yor mL times 60. Then divide that number by you amps , voltage and seconds.

  • "delay of game, 5 yard penalty"...no actually are better a showman..hey lets get together and create "Black Frankenstien"

  • madstu's site is really catching on ...haha!

  • I used some 304L for straps on my 316 plates with horrible results....made the water very brown. Perhaps I did not get correct information on the type SS it was, but as it was free, it's hard to complain. I do know 316 will leave the electrolyte clean.

  • Online have found 2x3ft 304L for around $50, 316L for about $200. Then you still need shop to cut and drill. I tried just drilling 304, I wont try that again. I have found it easiest to deal with local metal shop. 13 plates, 8x8, 22 ga, 304L SS. Total approx 6 sq ft. Search YT for Drycell, but Smartscarecrow has some of the best vids on this topic. He da man.

  • I have been trying to find an online source where I can order ss plates but am finding it hard. If you order them online can you post the link in a pm? If not no problem.

    thanks in advance.

    AH
