Madonna's 2012 Tour is about to kick off and we've got all the details on the Material Girls Tour Costumes.
Madonna is not one to disappoint when it comes to fashion and this tour is no exception to the rule—according to Women's Wear Daily we're going to see the typical sexy songstress we all know and love.
The tour kicks off in Tel Aviv this week and for the premiere concert she'll be wearing some scandolaous looks from designers like Jean Paul Gaultier, Jeremy Scott & Alexander Wang.
And of course there will be shoes from none other than iconic designers Prada & Miu Miu.
Dolce & Gabanna has taken on the task of dresses all of the band and backup dancers according to WWD and they have creating some amazing pieces such and vests and masks.
Plus, WWD is reporting the JBrand made custom made jeans for the whole crew—not too shabby if I must say so myself.
And Madonna is getting her hand more into the designing aspect of her tour costumes this year, promising that shoes & lingerie from her Truth or Dare collection will also take a place on the stage.
The costume designer, Arianne Phillips has been in charge of the costumes for the past four tours and said this one is quote, "A real journey from the first act to the fourth, and the way she constructs her show is like a theatre piece."
Plus, Phillips dishes the deets to WWD that Madonna will change 7-8 times and the dancers anywhere from 10-15 times during the show, plus they're taking over 700 pairs of shoes on the road!!
