I don't know why, but the opening credits remind me of the little-seen UK soap "Night & Day."

Will this be a typical soap or more of a "quirky satire" in vain of "Twin Peaks" and 90% of ABC's current line up?

I tracked down the Night & Day opening sequence and I see similarities in that both openings are generally dark with bright colors, and the characters are revealed in many lateral "side to side" swipes of color (or at least just the color red). You've piqued my interest about "Night & Day" from the clip I found!

Wow, quite interesting. Is this for real though and just something you're making here on youtube?

It's an opening based on fiction I'm actually in the process of writing. It's not going to be a real show, on TV, or on YouTube. Unless some major network sees this and thinks I'm a genius.

If you're still out there, there are PLENTY of installments of Beyond the Horizon to read now, that these opening credits are based on. The link is posted under the video to the forum where the installments are housed!

Well I'm in the process of doing a synopsis of the debut episode, from which point I will do monthly recap installments, as I don't have time to script full episodes. You can keep up via the link to the official site in the details box. Thanks for the interest!

Thank you so much! As you might tell I'm a bit of a freak for opening credits myself. And Kerry Butler was very underutilized by OLTL. It's funny, I didn't even cast her to deliberately work off of Forbes March, I cast for family resemblance first (Butler to Hickland, March to Willey), and it just worked out that the characters ended up together!
