11-21-09 My first train on the Cuba Sub :) BNSF #700 leads the Q-STLLAC-21

After I caught the WB UP empty coal train. I heard that BNSF #700 Q-STLLAC was departing Lindenwood Yard on my friends scanner. So I decided to walk to the Cuba Sub on South Kirkwood Road. It only took me 8-10 minutes to get to the tracks, when I got there the train didnt show up yet. Five minutes later I see the train coming down the hill. It was going at least 26mph down this rough lookin track. When it got closer I went to the other side of the tracks which was track two. I was happy that I got my first train on the Cuba Sub.

Well you lucky stiff! Your first train on an infrequently used line with TWO warbonnets leading no less! I live by a 20+ trains per day BNSF line and I'm lucky to see one warbonnet embedded in the middle of a consist most of the time.
