I am so glad that these two cats have a safe home where they can be free to play :] Once I have my own place I think I will adopt some cats with birth defects or that had been disowned

Why do cats scratch like that around their drink bowl? My cat does exactly the same thing. Never her food bowl... only her coffee bowl. *AHEM* I mean WATER bowl!

There is a list of things that you aren't supposed to give to your cats and dogs. Warren Eckstein from The Pet Show has a list on his site or you can easily check this via a regular search on the internet. Anyway coffee is one of the things that is poisonous for cats and dogs - it should be kept completely away from them.

Is Klaus's damaged ear still able to hear? He's such a sweet kitty!

@mimixmin Thanks for the kind words! Klaus can still hear out of the ear. We just have to clean it once per week to get rid of excess wax and dirt. It's a quick job and it's easy to do because Klaus is mellow and doesn't mind the q-tips.

@dalusgembalus His ear was damaged when he was a stray, years ago. We suspect frostbite or excessive scratching due to really bad ear mites. Take care!
