To learn about the glory days of the Fianna, look into the Finn mac Cumhaill cycle.

@awesomeakki17 Bio8thief is right, but he is missing some details, albeit minor. The Fianna were indeed practically the royal guard of Ireland. Now days The Fianna are those who go through the war training they did in days of old. Fianna War Training is now considered a Martial Art and a practitioner of it is a Fian. Basically Fian would be the singular of Fianna.

@awesomeakki17 Fianna was a warrior band, established to protect the high king of Ireland and the kingdom

@joshyfox1 What is Fianna? And what does it mean to be a Fian? i am curious i have not heard of that before.

this is a great song, really aspires to the fantasy world and really carries a nice energy with it

I love some good ol' Irish Music here an' there.... :) Nice video, keep it up.

I appreciate this song because I always thought we Fianna needed a theme song or two. Ireland might not have a royal class anymore, but the royal guard's Martial Art still survives to this day. I am a proud Fian, and one of the last. Good on David Davidson for making this song.
