Sorry about the quality and the lack of my face in the whole thing, except for lips which are very chapped. It's only my first video, after all. If you want the really important info, go to Part 4, around 8:40 where I talk about safety concerns (human safety, not doll). Of course, the whole things is informative and important info is scattered throughout the video. I hope you like it!

  • im looking for my first doll under 80.00 do you know where i can get one?

  • @xxMyamxx I think the cheapest doll you can get is Bobobie Nissa which is 81.00 plus tax, shipping, wig, clothes, shoes etc. One thing you definitely should know before you purchase your first doll is that this is NOT a cheap hobby. Everything you want to get for dolls costs extra. And once you get your doll, you will probably want to get him/her a lot of stuff! Hope I helped. :)

  • @lilartistgrrl you can purchase at junkyspot . com

  • Check out the Den of Angels forum and research a lot to find out what the perfect doll for you is. You can see pictures of most BJD sculpts by googling gigglegeek BJD.

  • Thank you so much for this video, I've been thinking of buying a puki doll :3

  • @lilartistgrrl ok thank you!

  • Make sure your hands are clean when you are touching the dolls, because resin is sensitive to oils. Also, they will yellow if left in windowsills or anywhere with light. If you just take them outside occassionally, they will only yellow gradually. Dream of Doll makes pink skin dolls that will yellow less quickly because they are pink. That's also a good company for a first doll.

  • A good place to buy Bobobie is at junkyspot, if you live in the U.S. They ship very quickly and you don't have to wait for the doll to be made because they already have them in stock. Plus they usually send extras like candy or toys. Just remember when you get the doll that RESIN IS TOXIC, so if you are doing any customizing you must know about all the safety concerns. Also, don't touch the faceup because it will wear off.

  • It really depends on you. Pukis are VERY small and it's possible to lose the parts. If you live with children or pets, I don't think I would recommend a Puki for your first doll. First dolls are experimental dolls usually, so I would recommend getting a cheaper doll, like Bobobie. I think a good size to start with would be in the 40cm range. They are a lot easier to restring than a Puki.

  • so would a pukipuki be a good first doll?
