I live in Montreal. I finish to work at 6PM and if I miss my metro, I have to wait 7 minutes for the next one!! This is not normal at this time of the day. That's very bad service!! I visited a lot of cities in Europe: Paris, London, Brussels, Berlin, even in Budapest the frequencies between the trains is always 1 to 3 minutes, even in the afternoon or the evening!! The Metro of Montreal is too old, with no service, it's totally crap!!!

Two minutes away? That's not true.

The Montreal Metro has horrible frequencies for such a busy system.

I was there and you would wait upwards of 10-15 minutes during the middle of the day or on weekends.

You just said it .. middle of the day is NOT the busiest hours..

Busiest hours are early in the morning .. around 5:30 to 8

and in the evening from 3:30 to 6:30

outside that it's NORMAL there's not as many trains . would serve no purpose..

people complain they have to wait 15 mins for the metro sometimes...big fucking deal...in mascouche if you miss a bus it doesnt come again for an hour if not more....it takes me 2 and a half hours to get to school everyday...so fuck off...people like that piss me off...

You will NEVER wait 15 minutes for a metro here in montreal. ENOUGH said. (unless there is a bad accident, accidents happen...deal with it. )

La STM c'est de l'osti de scrap. Tout les employés sont en criss pour absolument rien, le métro s'arrête entre les stations, la pluie coule dans le tunnel. Ya jamais de place et ca pue tellement dans leurs autobus de merde qu'on dirrait que quelqun vien de chier dedans. Vivement la faillite pour leur service trop vieux et trop dispendieux. C'est rendu plus cher que le gaz et ca pète plus souvent qu'une civic.

J'ai été longtemps moi-même un accro de cette activité souvent inutile et en plus mauvaise pour le coeur. Mais parfois je suis borné et j'effectue quelques fois des "rechutes" comme en cette soirée de fin septembre que je viens tout juste de passer au centre-ville. (eng.:I've just made a "relapse" by running to catch the metro on a day off!)

I actually don't mind this run! The trick is to get off the green line right where the hallway leading upstairs is. What I do hate though is when people stand on the left side of the escalator and block it up. That drives me insane!
