As humans we are bound to have sublime influence in our lives. But Darren shows us how it can be hacked for personal use! Keeping an eye out just isn't enough...gotta rewire the brain again...(self hypnosis)

@SuperGrgur Well obviously with any conjurer as Derren likes to call himself there are going to be some stunts that require additional help. Derren always points out that he NEVER uses stooges and having seen the live shows and the way he selects his victims er I mean volunteers I can see that by throwing a frisbee into the audience the selection would be random. Derren's skill is how he makes you believe that he did it all on his own. e.g Russian Roulette required a lot of background planning

@superhornet59 You have to remember with Derren that there is a lot of "showmanship" in his work, he has some of the cleverest people who help with his stunts, e.g Iain Sharkey, Andy Nyman and Andrew O' Connor. You can visit Andy Nyman's site for yourself.

@computersolutions164 Whether or not it was real will be a fruitless discussion full of speculation, as we cannot know the true answer. I heard he THOUGHT the rounds were live, while they in fact were not. To be honest 99% of his tricks prove how good he is to his audience.. I think the RR was (for him) real because he wanted to prove something to himself. Either way, even a blank round at zero range to the temple can be cause a devastating wound.

@superhornet59 Very good comment, just one correction. Derren APPEARED to play Russian Roulette apparently live from the island of Jersey. Although he has never actually admitted it one way or the other whether it was for real or not, it is very interesting what he puts at the end of his book, when he "Thanks the Jersey Police" Also don't forget there was a theatrical "props" van there for some time too, during the shoot. You would not need props if it were real!
