The Hackenberg, closest "Veckring" in east of France, is for me a must see if you want to visit a restored fort of french "ligne Maginot". Good crew and really nice stuff inside.

I had a wonderful visit to the fort in 1985. I found it by walking on top and having a mortar turrent lift up into action. Then tourist came out and told us of the museum.
