Project 86: choosing to never release their best songs since 1998.

"It struck me as curious how you could create dead men but not living onesEyes I dare not meet in dreams, the hope only of empty menLips that would kiss form prayers to broken stoneAnd I heard them all singing, each to each. I do not think that they will sing to meWe shall take part in it as the handful of dust and the splinters of bonesRat's feet on broken glass in dry cellarsAnd I heard them all keep calling my name, calling my name, calling my nameSoma, soma, running, running downDo I dare disturb youSoma running down rivers of bloodHorizon lines I know too well"

  • This song appeared on Truthless Heroes as SOMA in 2002, even though the lyrics might have been slightly different.

  • Thanks. For giving information that is in the title.

  • what do you have against project?

  • That explains it, you're heavy into Tool and A Perfect Circle and upset that Project 86 doesn't sound like them. Either that or you're mad that Project 86 wanted to be more experimental in their nu-metal styles.

  • how did it destroy your youth?

    ...I love that album..

  • wow this is so cool and interesting that they originally had mixed soma and circuitry to make one song. thanks for uploading this! It's wierd its like segments of both song put together! :)

  • Most of the lyrics are from T.S. Elliot poem, the hollow men

  • ...And Circuitry was on "Songs to Burn Your Bridges by." It's just interesting to see where these to songs originated and it turns out, that they started off being the same song. That's awesome how music works.

  • It's a shame they never released this version. I've been a fan for 10 years and I know they have done this in the past, but thanks Chips for posting it!
