Keith Olbermann on MSNBC's "Countdown" gives an editorial on the Bush Administation's botched response to the Katrina disaster. From September 5, 2005. This predated Keith's first "official" Special Comment by a year. One of Keith's most compelling moments. The picture quality on this is far better than other versions on YouTube.

  • So now standing water is a BIOLOGICAL WEAPON?

    What a fucking IDIOT!

  • @kungfu2u2: Yes they were all idiots from Bush on down! Bush was like the King Midas that turned everything to shit.

  • Hey, thanks for putting this up. I'm glad there's at least one news anchor that's willing to be bold and blunt, I'm not sure if the news would be the same without Keith.

  • Compare his analysis with that of typical GOP'ers who just blame us for being below sea level here in New Orleans.

  • damn i miss keith's show.

  • @kungfu2u2 His point was how could Bush protect us from WMDs when he couldn't protect people from water.

  • Sorry to see you go Keith. This one video made me believe there was such a thing as America while I was living Katrina. THANK YOU!!!! You made a diference.

  • @kungfu2u2 When standing water is mixed with decaying bodies which are releasing toxins and raw sewage, it is indeed a biological weapon to anyone who may be exposed to it.

  • Funny how nothing is mentioned of the failure of State Local government in New Orleans, LA. . A misspoken word isOlberman's evidence that President Bush is responsible for why New Orleans was not evacuated 72 hours prior to Katrina's landfall, as New Orleans own plan called for when Hurricane, of even less strength, was forecast. Funny how 2 million people could flock to Obama's inauguration in sub-freezing temps, but a couple hundred thousands could not flee a pending cat. 5 hurricane.

  • @kungfu2u2

Standing Water...in some cases 20 feet of it, mixed with sewage, petroleum, garbage, corpses, both fresh and old, yes.....Standing Water can be a biological weapon

  • LIE!
