  • @jwillborg Well, maybe you are right and I am wrong but we'll never know for a fact. Keep rockin' bro.

  • @evermetal2

I don't think he cares about rumors as long as someone dosen't bring it up in an interview. That's my experience of the band anyway.

  • @jwillborg But something like that would be too serious for Kai to ignore, no?

  • @evermetal2

There are sooo many rumors regarding the old line-up that you can't expect them to deny every false one. I've personally never heard that Weiki promised Ingo the spot back eventually, Ingo was just a mess at the time and couldn't perform, and you can't really blame the band for how it happened, it was out of their control.

  • @jwillborg I haven't actually HEARD it. I have read it in some Metal Magazines that are suppossed to be trust-worthy. If it wasn't true, that Kai said it, wouldn't he have denied it though?

  • @evermetal2

Oh, well, I've never heard that, are you sure it's authentic? There are a surprising amount of fake Helloween interviews out there.

  • @jwillborg Maybe so but, I've read in several of Hansen's interviews that Weikath had promised Ingo, he would return to Helloween. However, once they hired Uli Kusch, he refused to bring him back. That made Ingo even more depressed, which eventually led to his suicide.

  • @evermetal2

I have to disagree here though. I'm devastated that old Helloween ended, but you can tell that Weiki likes Kai Hansen, especially these days again, there's no bad feelings between them which is obvious if you watch more interviews. And you can't blame Weiki for Ingo's suicide, even Michael Kiske said that, who has very little love for Weiki and for how he acted during this time. He might have wanted Ingo out of the band but he couldn't help his mental health at the end.

  • @GorillaMunchIsGood well, Deris is always RED :)

  • It is pretty obvious that Weikath is SOOO happy to play with Hansen. He is clearly acting and on the back of his head he's thinking like "I am gonna have to put up with him for so many days, but I'll show the world who's the best guitarist, haha!" He should be damn honoured that Kai accepted to share the same stage with him, that arrogant son of a bitch. Helloween could have so great but for him. He is also to blame for Ingo's suicide. He is a fine guitarist but I really despise him!
