What a great lineup! The 80s were outstanding!

oh how I miss these days....

@agjavier Gummi Bears moved to ABC in September 1989. They forgot to mention Kissyfur (I can't believe I ever watched that) which came before the Gummi bears in 1988-89. Alftales and Ed Grimley premiered in 1988

Good old Saturday morning cartoons on NBC. Takes me back to being the first person in the house being wide awake, eating my cereal and watching some great Saturday Morning cartoons. Ahhh.. the 80's! They were so great.

It's like I died and went to heaven! I wonder if I'm just being nostalgic, but there were at least 30 cartoons on Sat. AM back in those days, now there are like 5 on on channel. It's so sad.

No, in 1989, Punky, and Fat Albert were gone from the schedule. And the Gummi Bears went to ABC in September 1988. Could this be from 1986, possibly?

The commercial is from 1989, I double checked after I got your message. Originally I'd pegged it as '89 b/c there's a copyright date on the McDonalds commercial that aired right before it. I checked the tape again, and in the very next commercial break there's a promo for an "All New" Family Ties episode, which was set to air later that night. I googled the plot of that episode, and it's from March 5, 1989.
All I can think is that maybe Punky & the other shows were all reruns/in syndication?
