I first saw it when I was a little girl, maybe 10 or 12 I don't remember extacly but what I can remember - is the fact that I was totally amazed by power of this story. And I guess it didn't change because few days ago I saw it like the fifth time and it made me teary again.

This movie has 23 years but never stops to amaze me.
I know it has a grat love story and the history is so interesting but for me another thing is the most important.
Because in my opinion this movie is about how really young people (actually too young) were used by adults. Edward was fragile sick boy who couldn't rule his own country and also couldn't die to find peace because some people, mostly one of them, wanted to make their plans how to be more powerful.
Jane Grey and Guilford Dudley were like small pawns in political game. Too naive and idealistic to rule England but also too weak to win with people much more expirienced then they at age of 16 ever could be.
That's why I focused on them; on Jane, Dudley and Edward.
I know the quality of this video is not too good but the movie is quite old so hope you don't mind.

This is dedicated to Lottie, my great Sunshine because I'm proud of her new studies on Psychology.

In the days of video, my sister and I rented this film from our local shop again and again and loved it every time. It is just as touching today and makes Jane and Dudley's tragic story totally real, even if it is a bit over romanticised and innacurate in places. Its one of my favourite 80s film. Helena Bonham Carter and Cary Elwes are both so young and beautiful and the soundtrack is incredible. Your video is a perfect tribute to a perfect film. Thanks

Oglądam po raz kolejny, podziwiam coraz bardziej... Z pewnością obejrzę kiedyś ten film, żałuję, ze go nie znam. "We hold the light" przy gaszeniu świecy robi niesamowite wrażenie. tak jak tłuczenie kieliszków... Bardzo mi ich żal, całej trójki... Smutno mi się robi, co chyba oznacza, że Twoje dzieło jak zawsze jest wspniałe :-)

I first watched this 2 years ago at my local library. I enjoyed it very much. It gave me new insight and idea about what life would have been like as a kid back then. Great video. There's not many Lady Jane videos out there. :) Love it! faved and 5 stars

It's a shame that CBS cancelled the show, it was so good, many fans around the world and they go and cancel the show, so stupid!!! I believe you have seen him in "Mary Bryant", love this series too, and Jack Davenport is so hot there too xDD By the way I'm in love with this song!!! <33 Kisses!!
