  • how do you mount the left pipe? did you weld a nut onto the left passenger peg?

  • the ninja 250s 2007 and under came with dual exhausts. so this just slips on in place of the stock ones.

  • did the pipes come fully loaded with paper cannons when you bought them or was that extra?

  • yup it was part of it. actually is some of the packaging popcorn that got in there when i installed them straight from the box..

  • where i can buy it?

  • i ordered mine from starcycle

  • WTF was that that cam out of your exhaust!?

  • PIKACHU says "ITS TOO LOUD PIKA!" haahha

  • Pathetically slow and unsafe? I dunno.... my 250 runs a high 14s stock, making it comfortably quicker then most vehicles on the road, and it stops just fine as well. Also seen plenty of people who can turn like crazy. I don't consider myself that aggressive or skilled, but I regularly corner at a pace that would have cruiser guys dragging hard parts. Also if you are crafty there are several cheap suspension upgrades that make em even better, like a $25 Ebay ZX600 rear shock on.

  • Sounds like Subaru WRX STI :D

  • @jah2mail,

Hi. It's for two reasons in this case. Little bikes like this are great on gas. Unless you start piping/jetting/rad-camming/etc... Even if you do? They're still gonna be laughably slow. They'll just burn more gas doing it. I started on a very small bike. It used to get 70MPG. There's also the cost of an aftermarket exhaust system. I guess I hate to see people waste money. You're right, though. A)It's none of my business. & B) It's none of my business...

  • @neomuttley Why customize anything? Whether it's a 2stroke 50cc scooter or a 1300cc hayabusa, it's for the love of the machine. Why not throw an exhaust, jet kit and airbox mods onto this bike? So it's a 250, if it makes a stock machine more personal to the rider, who cares?

  • PIKACHU!

  • @layzer80,

Fair enough. You need to understand something. Old dogs like me. Who have been riding for decades. View such bikes as they used to be: pathetically slow & unsafe. I did start on a parallel twin that got about 70MPH. I quickly switched to road burners. I'm not a squid, BTW. It's just curious. One of the main reasons for going w/such a small bike, is the MPG. Between rejetting, airbox mods, & a good pipe. You lose a fair amount of that. Whatever. Enjoy.

  • @neomuttley the 250 is actually a great city bike, light and easy maneuverability and it goes forever on a tank of gas....putting a better sounding exaust just adds those great features. I have one and i don't plan on "upgrading" to a fatter, heavier bike that tempts you to go faster, dangerous speeds. IMHO faster bikes aren't better, they produce wreckless, law breaking morons.

  • Pipes on a moped? Oh brother...
