Goldwater came out against discrimination against gays, because he realized that such laws were against personal freedom. I didn't agree with Goldwater about a lot, but I respect him.

I remember stumbling around in radio interview when I was 22. He an impressive person at 13. He reminds me of someone with whom I used to argue politics when we were in our late teens--though they were probably both the same height. :-) He did a far better job of putting forth a conservative position than any current politician or pundit. I'd like to read this book. But Goldwater believed you can't legislate morals. Does Jonathan differ with the GOP there?

wow stay on topic web world. Don't shun the kid for speaking his mind. He never forced you to belive anything. He merely wrote a book. What is the biga deala? On on the question of religion in politics being on a show of that nature he answered it very well. Sure there are politicians who believe in god and blah blah but no one said god is good and no one yet has said he is bad.
