Xcel Tutor Teams at Crossroads Science

How can YOU give? Follow Xcel Energy's lead!

This fall, 13 employees at Xcel Energy in Saint Paul formed 2 teams, plus alternates, to tutor at Crossroads Elementary. Monday through Thursday of each week, a member from each team spends an hour working with students on their reading and math skills.

Can YOU give one hour a week? Students in Saint Paul need your help to become proficient in math and reading. Sign up to volunteer tutor in Saint Paul at www.sppsfoundation.org Form a tutor team! Get a group of friends, family, or coworkers together and see what a difference you can make.

Tutor elementary or middle school students across the city of Saint Paul. You will receive free literacy and math tutor training, and work under the guidance of a volunteer coordinator. Help a student succeed! Just an hour a week with you will help.
